General comments

  • Bij persisterende diarree kan behandeling met nitazoxanide overwogen worden.

  • Iedere antibiotische therapie is omstreden, effectiviteit in immuungecompromitteerden is zeer beperkt. Beste therapie bij infecties in immuungecompromitteerden is het herstellen van de eigen afweer.
