General comments

  • Zie ook LCI-richtlijn Hoofdluis.

  • De behandeling met een antihoofdluismiddel dient gelijktijdig te starten met het kammen. De middelen zijn minder effectief tegen de neten (eitjes). Om tussentijds uit de neten gekomen luizen te doden dient de behandeling volgens de instructie van de fabrikant na 7-9 dagen herhaald te worden.

  • Lakens en kleding dienen te worden gewassen bij 60°C of minstens 48 uur in de vriezer te gaan.
